Back by popular demand, our full day keeper experience allows a unique insight into some of the incredible husbandry, conservation and education work carried out at Five Sisters Zoo. This is the ideal day out for all zoo and animal enthusiasts.

Age Restrictions: All participants must be aged 16+
Length: This experience lasts approximately 6 hours (beginning at 0900 and finishing at 1500). Participants should be at the ticket desk promptly at 0900 to begin their experience. Lunch is not provided for this experience, but participants may bring their own lunch or purchase one on-site. Late arrivals may have their experience shortened at the keeper’s discretion.
What to wear: Please make sure you are wearing wellies as you will be required to use foot dips. A waterproof jacket is also recommended.
Can friends/family watch this experience: As this experience takes place behind the scenes and prior to zoo opening hours there is no entry for friends/family included. Only those taking part in the experience will be permitted entry to the zoo at 0900.
