Breakfast with the Bears
Since 2012, Five Sisters Zoo has worked with rescued brown bears. Now you have the chance to join our team behind the scenes at our brown bear habitat preparing and feeding out morning feeds. All this before heading off to the Leaping Lemurs restaurant for your own breakfast.
Age Restrictions: All participants must be aged 16+
Length: This experience lasts approximately 1 hour (beginning at 0900 on your chosen date). Everyone taking part is invited to Leaping Lemurs Restaurant for breakfast afterwards.
What to wear: Please make sure you are wearing wellies as you will be required to use foot dips. A waterproof jacket is also recommended.
Can friends/family watch this experience: As this experience takes place behind the scenes and prior to zoo opening hours there is no entry for friends/family included. Only those taking part in the experience will be permitted entry to the zoo at 0900.

Photography Experience
Head along to Five Sisters Zoo out of hours for one of our photography experiences. This is a unique experience that gives you exclusive access behind the scenes to give you the best chances of snapping some incredible shots of our Lions, Cheetah & Snow Leopards.
Photography Morning:
Please arrive to our photography morning from 8.30am for a 9am start. After 1.5 – 2 hours in the park with your guide you will then receive breakfast (hot filled roll and hot drink) served in our café. After the photography experience you will then have access to the zoo until closing.
Photography Evening:
Please arrive for our photography evening from 5.30pm for a 6pm start. The photography evening will finished approx. 8pm and will be followed by a hot/cold buffet in Leaping Lemurs restaurant. Please note, you will also be granted access into the zoo prior to the experience starting using your e-ticket.
Age Restrictions: All participants must be aged 14+. Anybody under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a fully paying adult.
Length: This experience lasts approximately 1.5 hours. All photography mornings include a breakfast roll and evenings include a buffet dinner.
What to wear: Please make sure you are wearing comfortable footwear. A waterproof jacket is also recommended.
Can friends/family watch this experience: As this experience takes place outside of normal opening hours only those that have paid to take part can attend a photography morning or evening.

Lynx Experience
Join our carnivore team for a memorable 30 minute experience with our Eurasian Lynx. Assist with the creation of new enrichment and get the chance to feed an incredible cat species.
Age Restrictions: All participants must be aged 16+.
Length: This experience lasts approximately 30 minutes.
What to wear: Please make sure you are wearing wellies. A waterproof jacket is also recommended.
Can friends/family watch this experience: Friends/family that have paid our zoo admission fee will be able to watch much of this experience from a public viewing area. Only participants will be invited behind the scenes.

Lemur Experience
Join our primate keepers for a 30 minute experience with one of our lemur groups. Help our team with some of their daily husbandry routine before creating some enrichment and giving out some of our lemurs favourite food.
Age Restrictions: All participants must be aged 10+. Anybody under the age of 16 must be supervised by an adult that has paid for zoo admission (this adult does not need to take part in the experience but is expected to remain nearby).
Length: This experience lasts approximately 30 minutes.
What to wear: Please make sure you are wearing wellies. A waterproof jacket is also recommended.
Can friends/family watch this experience: Friends/family that have paid our zoo admission fee will be able to watch much of this experience from a public viewing area. Only participants will be invited behind the scenes.

Penguin Experience
Join our keepers for a very special penguin experience. Find out more about our Humboldt Penguins, get up close and take part in their afternoon feed!
Age Restrictions: All participants must be aged 12+. Anybody under the age of 16 must be supervised by an adult that has paid for zoo admission (this adult does not need to take part in the experience but is expected to remain nearby).
Length: This experience lasts approximately 30 minutes.
