Bearded Emperor Tamarin - Five Sisters Zoo

Bearded Emperor Tamarins were named after a German Emperor because of the similarity in their long, curled moustache. The hairs on the moustache and beard are typically white, with darker brown, black and yellow fur covering the rest of the body. Females generally give birth to twins and males carry the young after birth, only passing to the mother for feeding.
