Asia Minor Spiny Mice - Five Sisters Zoo

Asia Minor Spiny Mice come in a variety of colours, from pale gold through dark brown, depending on their environment. They have a distinctive ridge of fur from the back of their heads to their tails. Tails may be longer than body in some individuals. They are endemic (found only) in Turkey.

Habitat fragmentation and loss; light, air, and water pollution in remaining habitat.
