Leopard Gecko - Five Sisters Zoo

A nocturnal species, the Turkmenistan Eyelid Gecko has a very narrow range of habitat and is incredibly secretive. The dark spots on their body gives them their name, with a variety of colours underneath including yellow, cream, and shades of brown and red. Unlike other geckos, this species lacks the sticky pads on the ends of their feet that enable them to climb smooth surfaces.
