Eurasian Lynx - Five Sisters Zoo

Individuals have grey to reddish fur with dark spots, which in some locations may darken or lighten depending on the season. Eurasian Lynx have very keen hearing, with ears being topped by a distinctive black tuft. A black tip is also found at the end of the tail, with a lighter coat colour on the abdomen. Eurasian lynx have very broad paws with thick fur, enabling them to safely and quietly cross deep snow in search of prey. They are crepuscular, meaning they are most active at dawn and dusk.
