We have seen just how popular the animal handling sessions are amongst visitors of all ages, and we know how our curriculum-linked booklets and teacher’s notes can compliment your classroom learning. These are just two of the things we can offer your group in the winter months.Exclusively for the winter period from November to February we have even more on offer for visiting educational groups.
For the period November to February, your class will also have the opportunity for an exclusive Keeper Q & A session and biodiversity talk. These are as individual as the classes which visit, and we aim to meet the specific learning objectives and level to best complement your classroom learning. This could have a focus on habitats and adaptations, distribution of species or human impacts on the environment, for example. We encourage clear communications with teachers pre-visit if there is something specific our education team are to discuss and explore with the visiting class.
Visiting classes get reduced admission prices which includes the session(s) at no additional cost. For your winter trip, you can take advantage of even further reductions! See the prices in our downloadable education programme here.
