Feedback from teachers and group leaders

Here’s what others are saying about their visits to Five Sisters Zoo:

“…the feedback we had from the kids was really positive. The star of the show was the animal handling, they couldn’t stop talking about it! We spent most of the time in clas today looking at pictures and discussing the trip.”
Holy Rood RC High School

Great venue to help engage the kids within some of the more unusual aspects of the natural world which are not native to our country…. Or possibly continent!!

We had a great night, the animal keeper was very friendly and informative, and it was great being able to hold the smaller animals. Not so sure about the cockroach though!
Martin, Nathan and Denise, 14th West Lothian Scout Group

“The outing was very well organised. The children attended a handling session and an educational talk. There was plenty of space to have lunch and the children loved the play area, especially the pirate ship.”
Glengowan Whole School and Nursery

“It was a great pleasure running our three and a half day course at Five Sisters Zoo. They were great hosts, with friendly and helpful staff who happily accommodated all of our requests and the facilities were exactly what we needed and large enough to run our activities comfortably. We look forward to coming back!”
Mark Kingston Jones, Instructor, The Shape of Enrichment

“Our visit to the zoo was a fantastic hands on experience. The pupils were mesmerised.”
Broomhill Primary School P3

By visiting the Five Sisters Zoo, students were able to not only appreciate the different levels of biodiversity conservation but also to handle a variety of species to further inspire them.
