We run an internship programme! Interns provide much needed help to our zoo staff, and in return we offer our interns an invaluable experience within the zoo field.
Zoo Keeping Interns
We have a dedicated team of zoo keepers who oversee all aspects of animal care in the zoo. Our zoo keeping interns assist our keeping staff with everything from feeding the animals, to cleaning enclosures, to providing enrichment.
We ask our interns to commit to at least two days a week, for a period of either 3, 6, or 12 months. Anyone wishing to do an internship must be at least 18 years of age, be studying or have studied an animal-related subject, and have their own means of getting to and from the zoo. Internships are unpaid.
If you would like any further information on internships at the zoo, please email email@example.com or call the office on 01506 870 000.
