This is a 2 year old male Eurasian Badger that has come from the Natuurhulpcentrum, in Belgium (the Centre who looked after the bears and lions). He was orphaned and taken to the Centre last year, but was too tame and used to people to be released back into the wild. He's not out in the main Zoo yet as we are letting him settle after his journey - we're just finishing a new enclosure for him at the start of the nature trail. He's adorable!
Winter is coming!
NEW WINTER OPENING HOURS: 10 AM TO 5 PM, effective Saturday 01 October 2016 until the end of March 2017. Last admission is 3.30 PM.
